Welcome to the Seascape Ecology Lab!
Our Mission
The Oxford Seascape Ecology Lab focuses on understanding the social-ecological causes and consequences of spatial patterns and processes in the sea, with the aim of developing science-based solutions to support marine management and policy. The lab is based in the School of Geography and the Environment at the University of Oxford and is directed by Dr Lisa Wedding.
Our overall research approach weaves together theoretical approaches from the disciplines of landscape ecology, conservation biology, systems science and marine ecology, and applies a suite of geospatial analytical tools.
